Clean your MANDUKA mat

How to do it - Direct recommendations from Manduka.

PRO, PROlite, PRO Travel - These mats are made with a closed cell material, which means that nothing can be absorbed into the mat and the mat can be thoroughly cleaned on the surface after each use.

Use a small drop of dishwashing soap diluted with plenty of water and gently wipe it with a cloth that is damp and wrung out. Take a new clean cloth and clean afterwards with the wrung-out cloth, now in clean water. Lay the mat out flat and let the mat dry completely.

Over-cleaning can wear the mat out faster, but that said, the Manduka Pro series is very hardy.

Manduka ECOlite is cleaned like a natural rubber mat.

Clean your Signature Mat from GOYOGI

Use a small drop of dishwashing soap diluted with plenty of water and gently wipe it with a cloth that is damp and wrung out. Take a new clean cloth and clean afterwards with the wrung-out cloth, now in clean water. Lay the mat out flat and let the mat dry completely.

Over-cleaning can wear out the mat faster. Deep cleaning is recommended at regular intervals to avoid the mat's open cells becoming clogged.

One very important thing is to never use alcohol, oil-based solvents or highly concentrated essential oils on your natural rubber mat. It will ruin the mat.

Care and storage: Store the mat rolled up and ensure that it is completely dry after use. If necessary, leave it on the floor and dry after hot yoga classes. Avoid direct sunlight and store it lying down, rolled up, in a dark place. Remember to roll up the mat so that the colored surface faces outwards. Do not roll the mat with the underside facing out, as this can cause unnecessary wear and tear on the mat.
